Product Information
Twin eye cable stockings provide a tubular woven covering. Both ends are open with twin eyes at one end.
The design enables cables to be pulled at either end or at any point along the length of the cable.
Each stocking is fitted with a thimble eye to prevent chafing at the load-bearing point.
Twin eyes must be fitted prior to any bulky terminations being attached to the cable. The stocking cannot be removed once these are applied.

– Galvanised steel.
– Stainless steel.
Applications
Use with electrical cables, hydraulic hoses, crane ropes and construction equipment. Support cables in tunnels, lift shafts and subsea environments.

Our standard twin eye cable stockings suit cable diameters from 6mm to 300mm. Made to measure products are provided for special requirements.
Tracking & Tracing
Every twin eye cable stocking we supply is permanently laser engraved with a serial number for tracking and tracing purposes. The serial number is engraved directly on the thimble and corresponds to our batch testing results.
All of our products are batch tested by an independent NATA accredited operator at calibrated test facilities. We supply a test certificate with every product to confirm the Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) and Aggregate Breaking Strength (ABS) ratings.
