Product Information

Open ended cable stockings provide a tubular woven covering.

Both ends are open without eyes to enable cable splicing and joining.

The stocking creates a smooth join between cables for use with a pulley wheel or sheave.

Traditionally twice as long as other cable stockings.

Available Materials:

  • Galvanised steel.
  • Stainless steel.

Applications:

Simultaneously replace old cables with new ones.

Our standard single eye cable stockings fit cable diameters from 6mm to 120mm.

Tracking & Tracing

Every open-ended cable stocking we supply is tagged with a serial number for tracking and tracing purposes. The serial corresponds to our batch testing results.  

All of our products are batch tested by an independent NATA accredited operator at calibrated test facilities. We supply a test certificate with every product to confirm the Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) and Aggregate Breaking Strength (ABS) ratings.

When ordering a Four Eye Hose Restraint there are 3 key points that need to be met for us to manufacture the Hose Restraint correctly for you:

1.  Hose outside diameter (OD) in mm
2.  Both eye lengths as shown in the diagram below
3.  Overall length (commonly referred to as the ‘shackle point to shackle point measurement’).
